| Mr. Willis Henry Skelton, age 73, of Griffin, formerly of Henry County, passed away March 14, 2010. Mr. Skelton was born in Clayton County, the son of the late Estelle Phillips and Newell Skelton. Mr. Skelton was a member of West Sunnyside Community Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fishing, hunting and camping. He was preceded in death by his wife, Reba Ann Brown Skelton; son, Donnie Skelton; brother, Howard Skelton; and a sister, Alice Hunt. Survivors are his children, Connie Hardy (David) of Stockbridge, Eddie Skelton (Sandra) of Rex, Janie Self (Jim) of Azle, Texas; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Jeffreys of Jonesboro, Mamie Jeffreys of Morrow, Sarah Moore of Hiawassee, and Elon Dodgen of Hiawassee; sister-in-law, Jane Skelton of McDonough; special friend, Faye Scoggins and family; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 17 at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with the Rev. Hugh Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Griffin Memorial Cemetery in Griffin.
