Crumbly way back when and settled five miles northwest of Jackson where the Southern Railway was later situated. Thus born was Jenkinsburg. Other folks joined the Jenkins family. (Full Story)

It is amazing on the “Price is Right” TV program how many of the persons who lumber down the aisle to play the game are really obese. There are many other examples that may come to your mind. Last Updated: 10:03 AM 03/04/10 - The Georgia General Assembly convened on Thursday, February 18th after day 20 of the 2010 legislative session. The General Assembly has decided to take a two week break from the legislative session to work on the daunting task of balancing the Fiscal Year 2011 budget. Although labeled a “break,” it is far from what will actually be taking place for the next few weeks. The General Assembly will hold joint House and Senate Appropriation Committee meetings.
