Seventeen young ladies took the stage on Saturday evening, February 27, and filled the Rufus Adams Auditorium with their contagious confidence and zest for life. The McIntosh Trail Early Childhood Development Council, Inc. Head Start Program is beginning to accept applications for our new Early Head Start program for ages 6 wks-3yrs. Expectant mothers are also encouraged to apply. We are continuing to accept applications for Head Start and Pre-K. Children must be 3 or 4 years of age by September 1, 2010. Tuesday evening was a time for pride at Jackson High School as 29 students and 20 teachers were honored for academic achievement. Parents, friends, and members of the community were invited to the program recognizing the members of the JHS Class of 2010 with outstanding scores on the SAT, the most widely accepted test used as criteria for college admittance.
