Henry County Police want to identify a pair of armed robbers who stole money from a Church’s Chicken restaurant in Stockbridge.

Police released surveillance-video footage Monday that was taken at 8:50 p.m., Jan. 9, the day of the robbery.

One of the suspects is described as a light-skinned, black male, 6 feet, 1 inches to 6 feet, 2 inches tall, and in his early 20s. The other is described as a dark-skinned, “short,” black male.

The robbery took place at the Church’s Chicken located at 5408 North Henry Blvd., according to Henry County Police Capt. Jason Bolton.

“Two black males entered ... wearing dark-colored hoodies,” said Bolton. “They slid across the counter and went behind the register, and told the employee to pull the register drawer. They exited out the front door and ran across the street towards East Wood Village Apartments.”

Authorities said the taller of the two suspects was armed with a 9 mm handgun.

Anyone with information on the identities, or whereabouts, of the two males in the video, is asked to contact Henry Police Detective Donell Minton by phone at (770) 288-8306, by FAX at (770) 288-8329, or via e-mail at dminton@co.henry.ga.us.
