From The Editors
Subscribers to the Henry Daily Herald will not have their Wednesday, Nov. 11 newspaper delivered to their homes or offices on Wednesday.
We regret the inconvenience. The U.S. Postal Service will not deliver on that day, because Veterans Day is a national holiday. Normal postal delivery will resume on Thursday, so subscribers will get both their Wednesday and Thursday papers on Thursday.
However, there are ways you can still enjoy all of the news and features of your newspaper on Wednesday. Those of you who have Internet service can access the paper at www.henryherald.com. There, you will find our new, redesigned web site, complete with the news of the day, sports, weather and a wealth of other informative and entertaining items.
For those without Internet access, you can go to the Henry Daily Herald office at 38 Sloan Street in McDonough; say that you are a subscriber, and pick up a free copy of Wednesday’s paper.
If that is too inconvenient, you can go to the outlet nearest you, where our newspaper is sold and purchase a copy.
